Established in 2008, Ninth Month Publishing Co. is the result of years of writing and publishing research by founder/owner Susan Ferguson. Susan's goal is to provide books of quality that readers will find useful and meaningful in their lives.

Susan Ferguson has been an instructor of English composition at the community college and university levels. She has taught writing at numerous writing workshops and teacher in-in-service sessions. Susan holds a Master of Arts degree in English-Creative Writing from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor of Arts in English-Writing and Journalism minor from Missouri Western State University. She is a teacher-consultant with the Greater Kansas City Writing Project, a local organization affiliated with the National Writing Project, a professional network of teachers devoted to the teaching of writing.
